Glutenberg Blonde 4.5%

Glutenberg’s Blonde is the proud originator of the series, the pioneer of real good gluten-free beer. Airy and lemony, this golden-hued beer reveals floral and lightly herbal notes, making room for a dry and tasty finale. The brewery’s first creation, it paved the road to success and still imposes itself as a thirst-quenching beer that can charm any palate.

Glutenberg APA5.5%

The American Pale Ale is Glutenberg’s first incursion in the universe of hoppy beers. A savoury concoction with citrusy notes, this beer perfectly showcases the brewery’s versatility. Its orange and grapefruit aromas softly temper the straight-up character of American hops by endowing it with a slight touch of bitterness. The result is a delectable, balanced, resinous and full-bodied beer.

Glutenberg Blanche5.0%

The Blanche is a completely unique interpretation of a classic style of Belgian inspiration. Traditionally brewed with wheat, Glutenberg renewed the style entirely to put forward a 100% gluten- and wheat-free beer, a tour de force of which only we hold the recipe.

The Glutenberg White’s distinction lies in its quinoa and amaranth composition, which endows it with a noticeable grainy profile, ensuring a steady mouth-feel. Soft and refreshing, with hints of coriander and curaçao, the White is the perfect nectar to quench your thirst.

Glutenberg IPA6.0%

Glutenberg’s IPA is a dream come true for microbrewed beer fans. A true little bomb of flavours, it presents a perfect harmony between citrus aroma, hop freshness and bitterness. This beer guarantees a soft contact with taste buds, releasing apricot and soft caramel notes. Its exacerbated dry side makes its bouquet of flavours shine and ensures its good aromatic persistence. To be consumed cold and in great quantity!

Wrath of Putin DIPA7.0%

In hushed tones, people remark on its orange copper colour.  Some whisper that it’s brewed with Pekko and Centennial hops.  This ale may be double hopped to give it an intense hop aroma and a bitterness of 75 IBUs, and the bold among us may boast of its moderate fruitiness which provides the perfect balance.  We may long to share that it weighs in at 7 %.

But to avoid the wrath of Putin, we will deny everything!

The largest natural giant ever recorded was a man named Black Angus from Cape Breton. He would dead lift anchors to pass the time. If you’re a giant struggling to open this seemingly tiny bottle:

  1. Hold it between the thumb and index finger of your left hand, being careful not to crush it.
  2. Gently flick the cap off with the index finger of your right hand.
  3. Enjoy the mouthful of ale, a delicious citrusy mix of Chinook, Centennial, Cascade and Citra hops.

Red Coat Irish Red5.0%

There’s a bit of bite to Redcoat. That makes sense, really. There was a bit of bite to the Irishmen who stood up to the Redcoats, the British soldiers who invaded their lands. Those Irishmen were rebels. They did things their own way. They feared no one. We appreciate those qualities. So we’ve brewed Redcoat the Irish way, hopped for balance and drinkability. May it be the pint that settles your quarrels.

For this Pale Ale, we hopped entirely with Huell Melon hops giving vivid impressions of summer melon and ripe strawberry bouquet. This beer has also been dry hopped, a technique used to add even more hop aroma.  ABV 5.7%.

Nun on the Run Cream 4.7%

This Cream Ale, is very flavourful. We used 6 row malt (higher protein and enzymes helps speed up conversion to fermentable sugars), honey (who doesn’t like honey?), flaked wheat and Vienna malt, which should provide a golden to orange color and a distinctive toast or biscuit malt aroma to the beer. For hops, we added Huell Melon (an exciting new hop variety) for bittering and Hallertau Mittlefru, considered to be the noblest of the traditional European noble hops varieties, which should provide some slightly spicy aroma and character. ABV 4.7.

Dynamite Trail Hefeweizen5.2%

This is a Hefeweizen (say that three times fast)! The “Hefe” prefix means “with yeast”, hence which is unfiltered, and thus gives the beer unfiltered and a cloudy appearance. We used Bavarian wheat yeast, which can deliver notes of banana and clove. We made this with wheat.  The “weizen” means “wheat”, which we’ve added and combined with and pilsner (barley) malt. Huell Melon hops were used for bittering and Hallertau Mittlefru, considered to be the noblest of the traditional European noble hop varietiess, for aroma and flavor.  ABV 5.2

Old Speckled Hen is popular with ale drinkers up and down the country and renowned for its unique character and consistent quality.

The great British ale was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the MG car factory in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. It was even named after the factory’s old run around car which was often parked outside the paint shop. Spattered in paint, the car became known as the “Owld Speckl’d Un”. The eagle-eyed might even see the resemblance between MG’s logo and the Old Speckled Hen label!

More than 35 years on, the great premium ale continues to be a finely balanced beer with a distinctive rich, malty taste and fruity aroma.

Irish Stout4.3%

The flagship of the O’Hara’s brand, this uniquely Irish stout brings one back to how Irish stouts used to taste. First brewed in 1999, it has since been awarded prestigious honours for its quality and authenticity. O’Hara’s Irish Stout has a robust roast flavour complemented by a full-bodied and smooth mouth feel. The generous addition of Fuggle hops lends a tart bitterness to the dry espresso-like finish. This sessionable stout beer is filled with rich complex coffee aromas mingled with light liquorice notes. The combination of traditional stout hops with an extra pinch of roast barley allows us to stay true to Irish tradition, recreating a taste so often yearned for by stout drinkers.

Leann Follain6.0%

Where the essence of select whiskey barrels combines with O’Hara’s award winning beers.

In 2012, we embarked on a new series of beers, barrel aging our beers in select whiskey barrels that we felt would match and balance well with any one of O’Hara’s beers.

Awards / accolades for our highly acclaimed Barrel Aged Leann Folláin include Trophy winner at the Irish Whiskey Awards 2015 (October), Concours M Biere Pierre Celis Platinum Medal winner at Mondial de la Bière 2014 in France and Gold Medal winner at the Irish Whiskey Awards 2014.

The fifth edition of our O’Hara’s Barrel Aged Series introduces our new cork and cage bottling for bottle conditioned beer, which allows fermentation to occur inside the bottle.

To craft this beer we fill casks which were previously used for Irish Whiskey with our full bodied and rich O’Hara’s Leann Folláin Extra Irish Stout.  The stout is aged in oak Irish Whiskey barrels where it picks up the flavours of whiskey and oak cask.  After aging we then bottle condition the beer to give a gentle carbonation, bringing out the best of both the stout and the whiskey.
