Argyle street is one of the busiest streets in Halifax at night. There are a boatload of great restaurants and dance clubs to visit while you are in Halifax.
Subway – No folks, this is not a subway station in downtown Halifax. It is actually Subway the restaurant like you would find anywhere in North America. This is one of the many that are found in the downtown Core.
Flipburger – Flipburger is one of the specialty burger joints in Downtown Halifax, in fact this is the only place that specializes in different types of hamburgers and gives you a chance to try something different while you are in Halifax.
The Argyle – The Argyle is the namesake of the street that it is located on. It has been around for a number of decades, it is known for its awesome rooftop patio in the summer months, and in the colder months, they have a lower level dance floor and a great menu for any type of occasion.

Durty Nelly’s — An Authentic Irish Pub
Durty Nelly’s is a 15th century Bunratty Castle named after a legendary Irish hostess and entrepreneur. Today, it is also one of Ireland’s most famous landmarks for its food and hospitality. It is what the Irish like to call “craic agus ceoll” and it is an experience that we have recreated here on the corner of Argyle and Sackville in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Neptune Theatre Today
Today Neptune Theatre is Atlantic Canada’s largest professional regional theatre. The season runs from mid September until late May and often well into July, with productions like CATS and Beauty and The Beast.

The World Trade and Convention Center is going through some changes and will be moving shortly to a different part of town (just up around the corner) however it is still a great building to be able to use for events. If you are heading in town for a conference you very well may be doing it at the World Trade Centre.
