Tall Ships 2017

Halifax Tall Ships 2017

From July 29, 2017 through August 1, 2017 Halifax will once again be taken back in time to the time of sail.

Halifax will be the final Host city of the last portion of the Tall Ships Regatta going to Le Havre in France. The best of Nova Scotia will be showcased through music, culinary, historical and family friendly experiences on both sides of the harbour and in outport communities around the province. Nova Scotia’s sailing ambassador Bluenose II will be front and centre during the event, highlighting their seafaring history and sail training passion.

Halifax is the second largest natural harbour in the world, and with this, Halifax has a natural history with Tall Ships and ships of all kind.

This site will be updated over the next few months leading up to the tall ships, including other events, where the ships will be going and where they will be landing while in Halifax.
